WHO WE  ARE

Formed in 1981 by gamers in Williamsburg, Virginia, the Battle Barn Gamers is the current version of one of the oldest wargames clubs in Southeast Virginia.  We are a club with few rules, no officers, no dues and, until recently, no name .  We game every era from ancients to World War 2 and the occassional sci-fi game as well.  Large battles, small skirmishes, historical scenarios or make it up as we go; we focus on having fun with military history, enjoying each others' company, good sportsmanship and playing good games.  We meet every other Saturday at the Battle Barn in the wilds of Croaker, Virginia.  For more information and propaganda you can contact Rich Villella at rvillella@widomaker.com or Joe Brimer at napwar3@cox.net or call (757) 566-3222. But feel free to just check the map and drop by when you can.

WHERE WE GAME

At the reknowned bastion of bombast, bravado and blitz -

 The Battle Barn!!

The easiest (maybe the only) route is to follow I-64 towards Williamsburg. Take exit 231-B (in the direction of Croaker). Shortly after you exit the Interstate and merge onto Croaker Road you'll spot the omnipresent 7-11. Turn left there onto Old Mill Lane and go about a block to the intersection. You turn left onto Cedar Point Lane. Approximately 1/4 mile afer that you'll see the Elmwood sign and you turn right onto Elmwood Road.Follow Elmwood until you spot your second left turn (Chinkapin Lane aka Road 1608). Take that left and follow the road until you reach a T-intersection.Turn left and at the second driveway on the left (203 Locust), turn in and you'll see the Battle Barn strait in front of your nose (and yes it really does look like a barn!!).
